1. Data controller MAELSTROM TECHNOLOGY & MARKETING S.R.L., with its registered office at Municipiul Pitești, Bulevardul Republicii nr. 80, etaj 1, cam. 7, județul Argeș, Romania, Tax ID (CUI) 49495018, registered with the Trade Register under no. J3/249/30.01.2024, acting as data controller ("we"), processes personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable national law.

2. What data we process This is a presentation website and does not collect data through forms. We do, however, process:

  • Technical log data (IP address, browser type, time of access), generated automatically and stored by our infrastructure/CDN provider (Cloudflare) and hosting server, for the purpose of website security and operation.
  • The data you voluntarily provide when contacting us by e-mail or phone (name, e-mail address, phone number, message content).

3. Purposes and legal basis

  • Ensuring the security, operation and prevention of abuse on the site — basis: our legitimate interest [Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR].
  • Responding to your requests and any pre-contractual steps — basis: legitimate interest and/or taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract [Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR].

4. Cookies The site uses a single functional cookie, NEXT_LOCALE, which remembers the language chosen by the user in order to display content correctly. As a strictly necessary cookie, it does not require consent. The site does not use analytics, marketing or profiling cookies. There may also be strictly necessary security cookies set by Cloudflare.

5. Retention period Technical logs are generally retained for up to 90 days, unless a longer retention period is required for security, incident investigation or legal compliance purposes. We keep messages we receive for as long as necessary to respond to your request. If that contact does not lead to a collaboration, we delete the correspondence after a reasonable period following the end of the discussion. If a contract or collaboration is concluded, we retain the relevant data for the duration of the relationship and, thereafter, for the periods required by applicable law, as well as for as long as necessary to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim.

6. Recipients and international transfers We do not sell or disclose your data to third parties for marketing purposes. Technical data may be processed by our infrastructure providers (Cloudflare, the hosting provider) acting as processors. Some infrastructure providers may process data outside the European Economic Area; where this occurs, transfers are carried out in accordance with GDPR-approved safeguards, including the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. Processing carried out by Cloudflare is in turn subject to Cloudflare's own terms and policies, available at www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/.

7. Your rights You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP, www.dataprotection.ro).
